GROVE ROTARY DONATES DICTIONARIES TO AREA THIRD-GRADE STUDENTS

More than 360 dictionaries are being delivered to third-grade students in Grove and other area schools, courtesy of the Grove Rotary. The dictionaries will be the students’ own property, for use at home and school, said Rotarian Tim Johnson, coordinator of the community service project.

“We are delighted to be able to provide these dictionaries directly to the students,” said Johnson. “We always take the opportunity to emphasize the importance of words and reading when we visit the schools to deliver the books.”
